Do you feel that you have a lot to say but just need help in expressing yourself so others will stop and listen? This workshop encourages self-expression and literacy among Houston’s youth through creative writing and performance. Professional poets work with students to help them explore and express their truths through writing and performance workshops. Lessons include writing, revision techniques, writing for an audience, performance strategies, and practice performing.
